Configuring TCP/IP for Windows 2000
- Operating System: Windows 2000
- Application: Network Neighborhood

- Connect the DSL jack on the wall to the DSL modem with the supplied cable.
- Connect the DSL modem to the network card on the back of your computer using the RJ45 (ethernet) cable supplied.
- Unplug the power cord of the DSL modem
- Click the Start button, click Settings, and choose Control Panel.

- Double-click the Network and Dial-up Connections icon.

- Right Click on the Local Area Connection icon.
- Left Click on Properties

- Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
- Click on Properties

- Select Use the following IP address:
- Enter your IP address:
- enter your Subnet mask:
- Enter your Default gateway:
- Select Use the following DNS server addresses:
- Preferred DNS server: 207.182.224.5
- Alternate DNS server: 207.182.224.10

- Click OK
- Reboot your computer
- Once the computer has been fully rebooted, plug the DSL modem back in.
- Wait about 5 minutes for the modem to sinc-up.
